Parallax privacy policy
Parallax lets you explore images and PDF pages with local mathematical tools. This policy explains how your files and information are handled.
Your images and documents
Parallax by Shira Apps reads only the image or PDF you choose through the system file picker. Image pixels, rendered PDF pages, file names, settings and calculated layers are processed on your device. Shira Apps does not receive these files or results.
Collection and sharing
Parallax has no account, ads, analytics, tracking or cloud processing. The Android app has no Internet permission. It does not collect or share your data with Shira Apps or third-party services. It does not request camera, microphone, location, contacts or access to your entire photo library.
Saving and deletion
Your open workspace is held in memory and is not saved as a persistent project. It is replaced when you open another file and ends when the app process ends. File picking and exporting can create temporary copies in app storage. You can remove app storage using Android’s Clear storage control or uninstall Parallax. Source files and exports in your chosen locations remain yours; delete those with your file manager. Exported ZIP notes can include the source file name, PDF page number and calculation settings.
Places you choose to save
If you select a cloud drive in Android’s file picker, that provider handles the transfer under its own privacy policy. Parallax does not upload files itself. Review exported files and notes before sharing them.
External links and support
Website, licence and email links open another app only when you choose them. The website host may process ordinary request information such as an IP address. If you email support, Shira Apps receives the message and any attachments you send; these are used to respond and are deleted on request unless retention is required by law. Please avoid sending sensitive documents.
Children and changes
Parallax is a general-purpose image tool and is not designed specifically for children. It does not knowingly collect children’s personal data. This policy covers Parallax 1.2.3. If data handling changes, we will update this policy and the Play listing before releasing the change.
